NATURAL BEUATIES
The relief of the landscape in the Mikulov region was created not only by long-term geological processes lost in the mists of time but also by the influence of the dominant water courses of the Dyje, Morava and Svratka. The present face of the landscape, dominated by the elegant silhouettes of the Pálava hills and surrounding limestone features, was, over the centuries, reshaped into a picturesque garden with many artificial water structures, gardens and parks, not only by the Lichtensteins and Dietrichsteins, but also by every resident of this beautiful landscape.
