Gastronomy of Hotel Templ is inspired by the cuisine of the historical region of former monarchy and is presented in harmony with modern trends. We take pride in offering a large variety of the finest local and regional wine, which wouldn't be possible without narrow cooperation of sommeliers and foremost small wine producers in the South Moravian Region. The philosophy of creating the wide offer of wine stands on several pillars. First of all, it's about exploring the wine varieties which are typical and convenient for the area of Pálava Hills and selecting the most talented smaller winemakers. We also try to present our fellow winemakers and typical wine varieties from near and historically related wine-producing regions in South Moravia, Weinviertel and Burgenland in Austria, White Carpathian Foothills in Slovakia or West Hungary. For connoisseurs and admirers of red wines we prepared a minor offer of less famous areas and winemakers from Tuscany, landscape not very different from the surroundings of Mikulov. Last but not least, a part of fully experienced wine tasting is exploring and comparing wine distillates made from the same varieties.
In our pursuit of exceptional gastronomy, which combines the best of modern trends and tradition, we avail ourselves of wide professional experience of our chef Lukáš Galgonek. Lukáš focuses his attention mainly on modern gastronomy of both Czech and foreign cuisine.
